My name  is Fred Lane and I have dedicated my career to supporting and advocating for children with special education needs. For over 25 years, I have worked as a teacher, assistant principal, Special Educational Needs Coordinator, and local authority SEN adviser. I am passionate about ensuring that every child receives the support, accommodations, and individualized instruction they need to thrive in school. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors trail running with my husband and friends. Being in nature recharges my batteries and reminds me of the importance of perseverance, which I aim to instil in my students every day. My mission is to help create a more inclusive world for all children through my work as an educator, leader, and advocate.
